The three things i learn reasearching this project , was that their are more homeless men then women . Going in to this project i thought that there were more homeless women and children then men .That reason being is because the mothers are put in a housing program and thats because of the child, so its rearly you see a child and a mother on the streets , if u think of all the money they get u would see that there pretty taken care of for the most part . For example the women get housing , men they dont, they get shelters so its a hudge differents . Which i think is very understanding , having a child is alot and being homeless on top of that would be to much, and thats not in best interest for the baby .Thats alot of stress on the mom which sometimes out the mother in a horrible situation . Other things are that their are alot of Women homes or shelters for women . Therers not alot of places for the men to go and be safe, i know that sounds strange but some men need shelters to be safe . America is very low of homeless people , other countrys have many homeless people then America . Reason being is because theres more oppunties then other third world country,alot of jobs and schools are better . The third world counrty are very limited to alot of things . Theres many ways to stay from the life style of being homeless , stay in school and educated yourself .
